From 15th March 2010, preferential upgrade pricing and software support will no longer be available for many 2007 Autodesk products. But because of this Autodesk are offering a special deal. This offer is valid until 12th March 2010 and is available to anyone currently using 2007, 2008, 2009 or 2010 versions.
All upgrades priced at 50% off of cost of new licence
In December 2009, Autodesk announced a simplified upgrade pricing model that will come into effect on 15th March 2010. From that date on all upgrades to the current release of a product will be priced at 50% of the cost of purchasing the product as a new licence.
2008 and 2009 products
Currently, the price of your upgrade depends on which product release you own. After the 15th March, upgrading from previous software releases—including Autodesk 2008 and 2009 software—will cost 50% of the full price of a new license.
2007 products
As stated above, these products retire on 15th March. After that date, you'll no longer be eligible to receive technical support or upgrades. If you want to purchase the latest version after that date, you'll need a new license.
